The Guava bears medium-sized, round fruit, pale yellow to green in color with white flesh. A hardy shrub that may be grown as a hedge or specimen tree. Fruit may be eaten off the tree, and used in salads, jams, desserts, and jellies.

STORAGE & USES
Placing Guava in a paper bag with a banana or apple will allow them to ripen faster. Guavas may be treated with an edible wax to delay the ripening process, so you may want to rinse them off to speed ripening. Once they are ripe, guavas can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days.
